About Emily Diamand

Emily Diamand, author of Flood Child and its sequel Flood and Fire, grew up in a small town in rural Oxfordshire and studied environmental science at university.

Emily won the very first Times/Chicken House Children's Fiction Competition in 2008 with her debut novel Flood Child (formerly published as Reavers’ Ransom).
